Pros
big travel. takes the big hits well (i am 97 kg). quick to adjust. set and forget. low maintenance fork.

Cons
lack of external preload adjustments. seperate hi and lo speed compression would have been nice - but thats the next price point up... enter the totem ;)

BRILLIANT FORK! basically, ignore a good portion of the bad press these forks have received (minimal at any rate) and focus on the good points (which are many)!! they can be found cheap and once setuip properly for your weight and style they can be dialed to wrok for either trail/AM (despite what u may have read the trail compliance is actually good - far better than my 09 marzocchi 55Rs and marginally better than my 05 boxxer races, my manitou blacks dont even compare). and can be tuned for FR/DJ. note they are not really a downhill race fork, so if u have the skills and geometry, they will be serviceable for this, but really boxxers is where you should be at for that. these are a brilliantly serviceable and DURABLE fork (as opposed to the higher maintenance totems) which really could be priced higher and still be worth it. they can frequently be found for bargain prices. I use and recommend the following model: 2010 DOMAIN COIL 180mm IS 1.5 alloy steerer. it is the best of the bunch and has been very good to me.
