Lightweight - you can lock your bikes to the rack - very quick and easy to load - you do not have to rely on nylon straps and hope they don't break - can fold up once mounted to the car

Expensive - have to have a hitch

Overall, this was the third different bike rack I purchased. My car did not originally have a hitch on it, but all of the trunk mounted carriers destroy your paint after a while. I love how easy it is to mount the bike. While others are hooking their bikes on the center tube or removing their front wheels, I have my bike loaded and am packing the car. Very simple to use, sturdy, but somewhat expensive. If you are looking to travel to bike, this is one of the best hitch mounted bike carriers I have seen.
