| Pros | Fits in an altoids tin, very rugged, 5mp is enough for anything I want to shoot, great lens quality, lots of modes like timer | | Cons | Video low res compared to current digi-cams | | Verdict | I have had my Pentax Optio 5si digital camera for 3 years and it has taken a beating. It still works flawlessly. It is so small that I take it lots of places I would have never bothered taking a camera before. I get good battery life using a mix of flash/no flash - about 300 shots. Replacement batteries are cheap (under 10 bucks). I am happy with 5 mega pixels, it really is enough for me to do what I want with them. This little bugger is tough, I never worry about it in my pack or pocket if I crash. I see them used from time to time on craigslist for around 50 bucks - get one! | | Recommended for: Anyone |
