Self centering. Allows up to 29" wheels with adapter. Sturdy construction

Review
This is a great truing stand for the money. Along with the base (a must) and the 29er adapters you can use this on all wheels. If your keen you can even adapt a set of dial gauges and your as accurate as other stands on the market at a fraction of the cost
