Pros
Super light. Loves Colorado trails
Cons
Toss a lot of pebbles

I have been running smokes since 1993 and Smoke/Dart since shortly thereafter. For the price, durability, and weight there is nothing better! Now, I have more than a year of running them tubeless! Stans makes the lightest quality tire almost weightless!

For the money, there is no better all-around tire. I've had $40+ tires before and they just weren't worth the money compared to what this reliable tire($10) offers for so many of the various conditions I encounter. They grab and hang on in turns, especially downhill when you're shifting weight in turns and they take alot of braking before they start to skid. I have heard alot about high rolling resistance with these tire, but I haven't experienced it.

I've been using the Smoke as a rear tire on and off for over 10 years now and have been very happy with it. Has excellent traction, and does alright, but not great, in mud. It does seem to wear quicker than normal. This is to be paired with the Panaracer Dart in the front, but I've known other riders who've been happy with a Smoke on both.
