Lighter weight - frame weight over 450g (1.0 lb.) lighter compared
to 2006 design
New forged head tube: increased reinforcement of head tube/top tube/down tube joint allows for lighter frame tubing
New butted top tube for lighter weight and reduced standover height (reduced by 20mm from 2006 design)
New single upper seat tube support tube: lighter weight, reduced standover height
Additional machining on rear dropouts for optimized strength and reduced weight; rear axle threads directly into left-side dropout for cleaner fit and reduced weight
Larger linkage bearings with 15mm (frame) and 12mm (seatstay) pivot axles and aluminum hardware for increased stiffness and reduced weight
New ISCG mounting bracket with ISCG O5 and original ISCG bolt patterns
New flip-flop rear shock mount for simpler bottom bracket height adjustment
New 1-piece welded linkage assembly for increased stiffness and lighter weight
