ProsBoth front and rear suspension work very well, even for a heavier rider(185lbs).
ConsGeometry makes steep climbs difficult. It's heavier than most all mountian rigs.
VerdictOverall, i am satisfied with the six two. It has served me well for what i bought it for, rough, techincal trails with lots of rocks, roots, and small to medium drops. If you are lookng for a "true all mountian" bike, or trail bike however, you should probably keep looking.

ProsGood price, decent components, extra solid frame that upgrades easily, quality build.
ConsSome components could be better, could be considered quite heavy if you are new to All Mountain frames.
VerdictAs far as All Mountain bikes go, you have to go pretty far to beat a Norco Six. My stock Six Two came in at around 17.5 kg, so anyone hefting it around XC trails is going to know all about it. But with weight comes solid feel and a smoothness that a light bike can't hack. I have bombed mine off all kinds of 4 to 6 footers and have never had any problems with the shocks, seals, hubs, wheels, linkage. It just laps it all up and keeps waiting for you to hurt yourself. :) All said, the Six is a fantastic frame that upgrades easily. I just recently removed the Bomber 4 forks and replaced them with some sweet Boxxer Race dualies. About a 1kg heavier now, but not much for the return you get in plush feel and rigidity on a 20mm t/a. Buy one and you won't be feeling disappointed.
