Maxxis Larsen TT Reviews
Description: (
from maxxis.com)
The TT works on a vast number of terrains and conditions, which is why it’s the favored tread of many of our pro dual riders. The TT hooks up well because each small, square lug in the tread pattern is ramped to roll easily, yet tightly spaced so more knobs are making contact with the ground. Thus, the contact patch
is effective on a wide variety of surfaces.
* Ramped knob technology on the leading edge, coupled with close spacing, permits the small square knobs to roll fast
* Trailing edges allow climbing and braking power on hard to medium terrain
* Low rolling resistance

Pros
Fast rolling. Great for dry ground. Low resistance. Relatively light for a UST tire.(~675g) Easy to seat on rim. Sheds mud decently for a tire not designed for wet conditions. Offered in several sizes.
Cons
Larger side tread would be helpful for people who turn aggressively and softer soil conditions.
Review
Overall, a nice dry condition tire with low rolling resistance and multiple sizing options. While it is available in a 2.35 version with wire bead, it probably wouldn't be my first choice on an All Mountain or DH rig due to the lack of aggressive tread at the edges of the sidewalls. For XC, rides it's a winner.
