Pros
This is a review for the 07 model. Shock is ultra plush with open oil/air bath. Super stiff with big 32 mm Stanchions. Embossed Bomber on the side adds to the looks.

Cons
As stated in other reviews, with oil levels dropping, the eta doesnt work. Have to own a FR5 tool and pump adapter to fix.

Installed on my GT Idrive and havent looked back. ABSOLUTELY ROCKS! Kudos to Marzocchi for producing the xc retro line. Would recommend to anyone looking for a strong, plush, good looking shock.

Pros
2007 model. Ultra plush with open bath oil/air. 100mm. Made in Italy before company moved in 08, so quality is superb. Stiff!!

Cons
ETA has to have correct oil level to operate correctly. After 250 miles, oil levels need checked. This can be a hassle if you don't own a Shimano FR5 cassete tool.

Review
Picked up the 07 xc600 model after researching the xc series. Not the xc600sl. I needed something that could fit an IDRIVE frame and handle 20 - 30 mile trips without hassle. Replaced the Rockshox Recon on my GT Idrive. This shock is amazing. Keeps the rubber on the ground when needed, and rides plush. Would recomment this fork (2007 model) to anyone.

Pros
Lightweight, relatively stiff. Long travel for an XC-oriented air fork.

Cons
A tad flexy in the really techy downhills. Not as plush as I'd like.

I have the 2008 140mm version with TST2. A pretty decent fork, but I think I'm going to go Fox Van or RS Pike next.
