Kona Hoss Reviews
Description: (
from konaworld.com)
Frame tubing - Kona Clump 7005 Butted Aluminum
Fork - MARZOCCHI DIRT JUMPER 4 100mm travel
Reviews
Pros
Decent components for $1000. Frame is about as strong as I have ever seen. (tipping the scales at 240 lbs that is what I am looking for)
Cons
Fork is a little on the soft side with factory settings. Add a couple psi and I will try it again.
Review
Great all around bike for beating on if you are a bigger guy.

Pros
Tough frame, decent climber
Cons
Pedals, seat
Review
This bike has potential with just a couple upgrades. I upgraded pedals to xpedo mx-35's and the seat to a cloud 9 and now I will just replace with upgrades as I crash and break stuff. Fun bike overall just remember it's not a DH or FR competitive.

I've just purchased it and I've gone from a 10 year old bike to this one so I'm going to be impressed but beyond that, it feels like a really solid quality bike and I tested a few. I would also say if you're a bigger guy, this is the bike you want.
