The Kona Blast Deluxe is a Backcountry Hardtail that can take abuse and punishment from the
hardtail lovin' crowd. Offered with the same durable frame as its Aspen Highlands cousin...
the Caldera, the Blast delivers a lot of bang for the buck.

| Pros | Has a good feel to the bike, handlebars have a good rise and grip width to it. Pretty good climber, nice paint, takes a good beating and a comfortable ride. | | Cons | The derailleurs aren't the best, the B/B on the crankset is no good, could use a better front fork, very little adjustment. The front end is heavy. | | Verdict | First thing, change the derailleurs to something better, get a different fork get rid of the crankset. All in all a good bike, especially for a newer rider with a tight budget. | | Recommended for: Recreational riders | |
