IRC Mythos XC Slick Reviews
Description: (
from irctire.com)
Competing on the short track or gliding over slick rock, the Mythos XC Slick's low profile tread pattern and rounded crown promise fast, predictable traction. CAF casing coupled with Pinch-Flat Resistant Foam help prevent blowouts.

Review
I don't actually own these tires but I am a big fan of what we used to call "Semi-slicks." The tread in the middle is gone leaving knobs on the edges of the tires to grip in the turns. I run one of these on the front and a normal grippy tire in the back for most of my East Coast rides. At a place like Slickrock you could rock this tire in the front AND the rear for extra speed.
