If you change out the fork,pedals, and tires you will have a really nice bike. Otherwise you may want to think twice before taking it on any decent single track. I currently run a Dart 2 fork, Animal pedals, Oury grips,and Panaracer Fire XC Pro tires. It is now a heavy, yet capable/fun bike.
