Ellsworth Moment Reviews
Description: (
from ellsworthbikes.com)
The most versatile bike in our line up, the Moment which features 6" of travel will see some changes in 2007. It has moved to the new swaged, tapered and shaped proprietary tubeset of its brethren. It will also see the asymmetrical chainstay all of which will lighten and strengthen this blaster. The Moment is remarkable because it can be
built up as a 28lb trail bike or converted to a light freeride bike in the same afternoon. We love this bike and predict that it will shortly move past many of the other designs by virtue of its sheer flexibility of design. Look for the Moment on the podium this year with the Maxxis Pro Downhill team steered by April Lawyer, Cameron Cole, and Luke Strobel.

Pros
This has been a great bike for me the past 2 years! I'm a Clydesdale that likes up / down / technical / smooth - you name it and this bike gets you there. Had it built up from specs online - got a smokin' deal on it.
Cons
Still a bit expensive when I got it in '07 but now it's "easy" to spend over $3000 on mass produced bikes....go a bit boutique for the money.

American handcrafted quality bike. Solid and burly bike that can handle just about anything. Allround great bike for xc and downhill.
Cons
Costly bike.

If you have some extra $ to dish out and you are looking for an all-mountain bike with 6 inches of travel. Can't go wrong with a Moment.
