Verdict You can produce quality photographs with this camera if you know what you're doing! That being said, if you don't know what you are doing, it will point-and-shoot just fine too. Verdict Unlike many entry-level digital cameras, the Canon A540 doesn't limit the photographer with factory presets. The user can choose many settings, from aperture priority, shutter-speed priority, auto-choose, manual focus, full program mode, and a video mode that will take quality videos for as long as there's memory on the SD card. The camera is just the right size to fit into a hydration pack, and offers the right amount of options to capture those choice ride shots. Recommended for: Value seekers
