Cons Needs elevation profiles--topos are good, but they don't give enough indication of vertical relief. Verdict Super guidebook by someone who obviously knows the area. reviewed by trek7k   on January 21, 2008   Pros Beautiful full color photos of popular trails, detailed topographic maps, complete coverage of the CB/Gunnison/Salida area trails. Cons Too many trails to choose from! Honestly though, it would be nice to know which trails are "must rides" and which ones are for the locals. Verdict One of the most detailed mountain bike guides you will find. While the Falcon Guides usually send you off with a simple drawn map, Holly's Ride Guides provide you with trail maps overlaid on a real topo map so you can get a feel for the terrain. Awe inspiring color photos make you want to get out and ride!
