Description: The trail is mostly single track. There are a couple of log obstacles. If you stay away from the long technical descent on the south side of the access road, the trail is mostly beginner to intermediate. On the north side of the access road there is a short steep descent that can be pretty tricky. There is also one drop off that is a couple of feet high. It will take you by surprise if you are not looking ahead in your line. On the south side of the access road there is a long steep technical descent that leads to tight single track that drops off to a stream below if you are not careful. *Trail is mostly used for running. There are many people that walk their dogs there too.* You can get bored pretty quickly with this trail, but it's a great place to learn.

I went to check this trail out today and there were signs all over that said no Bikes. Its a nature observation area and there is a list of reasons why they prefer no bikes on the trails.

A great place to kill an hour or so if you're local and pressed for time. Ride the trails in both directions to keep things interesting a little longer. The majority of the trail network is tree-covered, so it can be a cool shady ride in the summer months. Deer trails and improvised maintenance roads near the top of the access road can add to your ride, but they're primitive at best. (Watch for ticks). A side trail off the south end of the main loop does a quick, nasty descent into the creek bottom with no outlet. High Street, at the top of the access road, has a small shopping center and a convenience store to grab a drink and a snack. From the bottom of the north side (left of the entry gate), you can pull out onto the university campus to ride around the sports complex and climb a steep little hill - a good way to add some pedaling and extend the ride.
