Description: Love it or hate it, it's the most ridden trail in Indiana. TRTP is a fast 8-mile loop, including many fun, flowing, short climbs and drops over an earthen levee.

Very fast trail with highly banked turns on very solid hardpack. There is very little to no technical area to this trail. That is really the only downfall I see. Also, it is a little strange riding right next to I-465 for part of the trail compared to most trails, which are secluded.

When I lived in Indianapolis I would ride Town Run several times a week. The trail is fast and a lot of fun. It was not too technically demanding so you could throw caution to the wind and go flat out. I took my pre-teen son there for his first MTB experience he bit it once or twice but nothing serious and he enjoyed the excursion. I had a lot of good times there! If you live on the north side of Indy it's like having a cool MTB trail in your own backyard.

I loved this trail. A true 7.4 miles on my computer with an avg. speed of 12.4 for me. I've taken a few beginners there and they've been hooked ever since. This trail should be ranked much higher IMOA.

Smooth, well maintained trail. Get in the big chain ring and hammerhead! Some fun up and down dips. Trail builders put up a neat table top bridge while I was riding. Pretty crowded. Lots of twisting between trees and switch backs.

fun trail.no real climbs or descents, but a fast twisting 7 mile loop.i would recomend it for beginers or hammerheads wanting a cardio workout.
