Description: The resort area has built a multi-user trail system here utilizing a forest service and a few old ranchers roads as a base to branch out from, and done good job of it. With a mix of about 50 - 50 doubletrack & singletrack and about 70 miles of trails to choose from its easy to put together some decent riding if your willing to climb for it. A shuttle would be another option as Thompson Ridge Rd (FS rd) goes up and over the mountain and several trails intersect or start from it. There is some equestrian activity here also however they seem to stay more on the trails in the valley and around the Resort itself, several of the trails immediately around the resort area are for hikers only also, however these seem to be sandy and not much fun to ride in anyways.
There are many options for routes here however one suggested route would be to head up on Thompson rd / Meadowlark tr (DT) and come back down The Inside Passage, Rader Cr (fun ST) and then back around Patterson Lake (ST) to the Chickadee TH for close to a 10 mile loop.

they have a lot of trail systems that are fun to fly on. not technical, but some fun XC riding. if you're into teeter-totters and north shore type stuff, this is not the place for you. has some great winding single/double track and not too much climbing. serious can fly on these trails. there are a lot of camping opportunities too. makes it a nice place for multiday riding trips.

This resort reminds me of a small ski resort that never got its permits to install the chair lifts, although most of the trails are groomed for x-country skiing in the winter. There isn’t any technical riding here but the place is great for beginners and intermediate riders. The resort area with all its tennis, volleyball courts and swimming pools plus, yes, sun is a great place to maybe take a spouse that isn’t into riding that much, or kids that are just learning. There is plenty of info on their website- This place has the potential and terrain to have a lot more great singletrack riding built here, hopefully the management will work with some of the local riders in planning & installing more. It will be somewhere to watch for better riding in the future.
