Description: Good variety of everything in this park. The Lakeside trail is a double track that rides along Steele Creek Park Lake, but all throughout the park are 17 other singletrack trails that for the most part are pretty technical, intermediate to advanced rides. The Rock Cut, Sinks Way,Cross Ridge, Lake Ridge and High Ridge trails are among the most advanced.

water erosion has cause this trail to be very rough. we live next to it and ride it everyday. some parts can cause mere death if not careful.

The gravel doubletrack is a good warm up before you hit the singletrack. Aerobic is moderate only because you can haul @#$ on it. Not technical at all but there are a couple spots to have a little fun. GREAT scenery. This is a lot like a "Rail-to-Trails" ride.
Similar Trail: Virginia Creeper Trail and New River Trail also in VA.

I like the network of trails at Steeles Creek, myself and a few buddies like to hit it at least twice during the week after work for an hour and on the weekends we can do the Slage Hollow Trails and the Trinkle Hollow Trails on both sides of the lake for a good days ride. Trails are very well maintained(see www.ntmba.org for maps)
