Description: This trail is better walked & ridden in sections... The walking generally being on the uphill portion. The trail crisscrosses the creek in several spots, most of them having small footbridges in various states of disrepair. However, coming back down is the treat at the end of the trek. The trail is populated by masses of roots, rocks, stream crossings, small drops, and foot-dabs aplenty. It is not a trail for the faint-hearted, or cheapo bikes.... but the challenge you get is worth the effort.

I like to tie this in with a frosty park, pipeline, to this trail up buckhorn down jacks and chutes. It makes it nice and techy coming off pipeline. I have never tried to climb this trail i think it would suck to much. But has really nice almost rock stairs to rip down. If you dont like shelf trail stay off the top part of this trail. Once you get below the waterfall let her rip! fun ride. good tie in to pipeline to extend techy downhill.

Been a while since I rode this one, but I do recall hiking a lot, still a beautiful ride. I rode this up to jones park, then came down bear creek trail(at least I think thats what its called), it was a pretty sweet fast downhill run. Then if you turn right at some point, you'll connect with upper captain jacks and can ride back down a few different routes.

This trail is a loose, gravelly hike-a-bike nightmare. I finished it because I'm into punishment, but I will never do it again.

Very rocky, some sections have several stairs and railroad tires. Although it is steep and rocky in many sections if you are a good climber, much of it is climbable. I would not ride if you don't like rugged trails, if you do, it is great!

Similar Trail: Section 16

7 Bridges is indeed a technical challenge. Hike a Bike for most of the uphill for a novice like me. The terrrain keeps you busy on the way down with lots of obstacles. All the bridges have steps that you mus negotiate A much better hike than a ride!

Similar Trail: Section 16 Intemann Trail, similar terrain, but longer. 5 miles out and back..
