Description: Tight single track. Watch out for on coming riders, this trail is uni-directional. Not very technical, but fast and fun to ride. A feww obstacle and log stacks, with some bridges, it is really a work in progress but has 3.5/ 4 miles finished and ready to ride; fun!

Tons of roots. Made ride challenging.

An odd thing to mention but.. there are a ton of squirrels here...nearly ran over a few. The trail is mostly flat and unexciting. Don't make a special trip to come here. The pump track is in crap shape.

Good little track that is now one directional, although some people overtly disagree with that new rule ;-)

Fun trail, some good jumps and corners. Kind of narrow at some parts and a lot of roots :-P. A few good bridges, and a cool creek crossing. Pretty fun trail all in all.

A very fast singletrack through the woods. There were TONS of roots along this track so be extremely careful about riding after a rainfall. The trail is bi-directional but the "regulars" I met in the parking lot said that most people enter at the pump track and they prefer it that way. All the trail markers along the way indicate that they are correct. Not very technical, probably a 2.5 or 3 on a 5 point scale.

Similar Trail: Renaissance Park in Charlotte - As long as you don't complain about the roots.

What a great and fun trail! A good mix of downhill, some tight sections, some easy climbs. Lots of roots. Try this one, you'll like it!

Great quick after work ride. Three quick loops should only take about an hour and you will have ridden about 11 miles.

This is a trail that is great for beginners and fun for experienced riders. It gets a four because it is built exceptionally well, rides fast and fun, and has the huge bonus of a pump track. There are no climbs or descents that are noteworthy, just fast, well laid out, perfectly draining, great trail. I have been riding for 18 years and I took a twelve year old and a 14 year old with me. We all had fun, smiling for two laps and an exhausting pump track session.

Great beginner trail. There are some fun technical sections, but it is just a good trail to really get up some speed. You should be good to go for two laps, and if you go three that is a really good workout.

This trail is great for everyone. The trail is wide enough to really fly on, but comfortable enough for someone new to the sport. There are plenty of roots and log piles, although all of them are easily crossed. The bridges are expertly built and many places along the trail are armored with tile or rock for durability. I rode the trail clockwise first, counter-clockwise second. Clockwise is the typical race direction and everything seemed to flow better. Counter-clockwise is a little more challenging and a little faster.

Great trail. Not too technical however you can control the difficulty by the speed you ride it. It very fun trail for anyone.

This trail is an excellent local "staple"! From the parking lot, I recommend entering the trailhead on the side closest to the ball field fence by the dumpster(sounds scenic doesn't it?!?). This is a two way trail loop and the flow appears to be much better in this direction as far as hills, roots, and opportunities to catch air. This trail is pretty fast in some areas, especially one hill at about the mid-point where 20-25mph is attainable without much effort. Just watch out for on-coming traffic as there is a blind turn toward the end of the hill. While there are some roots - there easy lines to overcome them while keeping your speed and spin. Obstacles include a stream crossing, log jams, and bridges. The Tarheel Trailblazers club maintains this trail with a group out there just about weekly, so the trail is always in excellent condition and is well-marked with arrow/blazes. Proximal to just about everyone in the North Charlotte area - this trail would also be good for an out-of-towner looking to try several Charlotte area trails in one visit. Close to I-77(east side of 77) and easy to find follow the directions above, the park entrance has a green sign "North Mecklenburg Park", upon entering the park turn left into the first parking lot...trailheads are marked with signs on either side of the parking lot bordering the woods. Try working in a ride at N Meck and the new Fisher Farm Park(about 12 miles drive north of N Meck) - that would make for a good day of riding!
