Review: MooreSprings is an amazing Singletrack Trail, and it has a nice flow to it. As well as a gnarly downhill section and is good for beginner and intermediate rider sessions.

Review: Updated information sent in on a user about this system: " these trails in Stokes County NC have been closed by NC State University, the current owner of the property. In a bill before the NC Legislature this property will be transferred to Hanging Rock State Park. This is likely to pass. These trails will re open under the Park System "

Review: Moore's Springs was the best trail system I've ridden. It was well maintained and had insane flow. The creek crossing and bridges kept the trail interesting. Since it's location is in the foothills of the Sauratown mountains, the climbs were solid. The trail system has since been closed and I haven't heard any recent news. The Facebook page for the trail system is all I have for news on this awesome trail system.

Review: The trail had a small informal sign at the entrance which said "Trails Closed", but other than that the place looked open. There were tire tracks from since the last rain (two days before) everywhere? Exciting and beautiful area.

Review: Thanks so much for that detail - I am trying to figure out if the trails are "closed", but how can you really close the woods. Can it still be ridden without ranger consequences? Would be great to know.

Review: Great trail. Someone earlier described it as a combo of Dark Mountain and Warrior Creek, which feels pretty accurate. Good climbs, nice bermed turns in some places and a few rideable rock gardens thrown in. Can't wait to see this system grow and expand.

Similar Trail: Warrior Creek and Dark Mountain

Review: Definaty not a first timers ride. Although I did it as a first timer. Got caught in the rain. It was tough heart pounding climb. Killed my K~2. No brakes or shocks on the way down. I enjoyed it but it was not without pain. Great climbs fast switched backs. Rock bridges. The trails are narrow. And had some failing wood shingle covered bridges. All of that said after I recovered I had fun. Try it.

Review: Got to ride here for the first time yesterday. Santacruz demo team was there with all their newest bikes. Awesome group of people and the people from Mock Orange Bikes also. Trails are just about perfect, to me anyway. Hand built rock gardens and bridges. Lots of back breaking work has been done out here to make these trails as natural as can be. Lots of climbs but with some flat areas mixed in for a break up. Some very technical rocky areas on the downs for a white knuckle feeling on some areas then just nice flowing downs with some jumps on the way for a bonus. didnt get the chance to ride the new stuff by the campground but I will for sure be back again to ride the whole system over again. six stars out of five from me
