This is one of my favorite trails in the Detroit area due to its technical nature and its ability to provide a great workout in a short amount of time. This trail is much more than a bike ride through the woods and I'm always meeting people on the trail who misjudge this trails difficulty. One of it's best features is also that it is less than a mile to downtown Milford which is quite bike friendly and has wide assortment of resturants, bars, coffee shops and a fully equipped bike store. It's also known as the Highlands little brother.

This trail starts off kind of boring, but it gets better as you ride. It has pretty good flow and sticks near a couple of nice lakes. A few small rock sections, bridges, log stacks. Nothing crazy, hard to get into to much trouble on this trail. This trail did seem longer than 5 miles to me though.

Very fun trail. No crazy climbs, but a lot of fun. There are tree jumps, rock gardens, lots of wooden bridges, great descents, and a fun skinny. Only draw back is the trail is a bit short. The trail is very under rated, IMO.

This was my first encounter with mountain biking, and I loved every second of it. The trail rises and dips and curves like crazy. It's mostly in wooded areas, very challenging, but very fun. It's a little confusing in areas, so consider going with someone who knows the trail.
