This is actually just a fun and easy single track trail. It is not a big challenge at all. No hard climbs or big drops. But the layout of the 10 to 18" path is very well thought out. It has a REAL single track feel. (minus big climbs and drops)
But it does have challenging tree root obstacles and the tight hairpin turns that single track trails are known for. I usually ride trails around the Lakeland, Florida area. Which can be very challenging, but I love this trail. Its a easy way to get a quick fix of a fun single track experience.
I don't know if it was cambr or someone else who cut this trail. But GREAT JOB to who ever chose the directions of the paths.
Similar Trail: For a more real MTB trail, definitely Palos Forest Preserve in Willow Springs, IL
Not much elevation change but some nice flowin switchbacks and log-overs. Not sure why people rated as intermediate, I'd say this is good beginner singletrack.
Not too shabby. Parts run along the river and are very pretty. LOTS of roots. Was kind of confusing my first time through, but it's all pretty connected and an overall good time. I'll be back as often as the weather allows.
Very tight singletrack. no challenging climbs but still a lot of fun. there is only about 5 miles of trail not bad to do it through one way and return through in reverse. pretty good trails for the black heart of suburbia.
