Description
Great Wall is ~7.4 mile loop that can be accessed with a very short ride from the parking lot. Most people seem to prefer riding it counter clockwise but it's a great ride in either direction. Much like the other 3 trails that are accessed from the southern parking lot, this loop is fast, flowy and smooth. It's not quite the roller coaster/pump track of Skinny Loop and Brown Wave but there is little to no real climbing to speak of. Enjoy the glimpses of the river and don't make the mistake of skipping this loop.

Review: Rode CCW and had a blast. Downhill to start from the parking. Fast, fun and twisty. One of the beat in the area.

Review: Road the Great Wall Loop on Wednesday for the first time. Trail was 7.92 miles and it took my one hour and six minutes to complete. When I took off my helmet, a river of sweat came running down my face. This trail is a great workout! The trail starts with some nice flowing tracks but then hits some rough areas with stones, then a tight section with a lot of cut backs through some pines that are tightly packed together. The trail finishes with some good climbs. Add it all together and you have a trail that offers a bit of everything you would want in a MTB trail.

Review: in my opinion the best loop at FATS. Has some good climbs/downhill sections, some rocks, roots, twisty stuff follwed be roller coaster like sections. Has a 110 foot section of rock.sidewalk material known as "The Great Wall" a small rock bridge, at times logs to ride over and a hand cut twisty switch back that is fun. Love this loop in both directions. may be tough for beginer mt bikers.

Review: Yesterday was my first time riding at FATS. The trail was very smooth, not to rooty. Make sure when you ride FATS, That you wear safety orange, so you can be seen by others riding the trail. This trail is great for a novice rider. Lots of jumps, and loop-dee-do's
