At the Coed Y Brenin mountain bike centre there is a café, bike shop, skills area and eight trails:

That sounds like a lot a riding but the trails are not discreet - they typically branch off sections of common trail. In other words they share the same trail for much of their distance. Yr Afon, the beginner trail is on forestry road. The rest of the trails are typically about half forestry road. The amount of discreet singletrack is quite limited but it is good. They are rocky all weather trails with lots of cobbled slabs of rock. Down slope sections usually feature drops - the favourite technical feature of the trail makers. Fast flowing trail with berms and jumps is hard to find. Like most UK bike centres, the emphasis tends to be on the challenge rather than fun.
