Description: The trail follows along a steep side hill above the creek for most of the lower part of the trail. The trail is very narrow but mostly smooth with short steep sections and some rather flat sections. This is a fun trail, especially on the downhill. This trail could be accessed from the upper end and from the FR #200 at about 4500 feet elevation. Above the 4200/4300 foot elevation the trail widens out some as some upper section appear to be groomed for snow mobiling in winter. From approximately mile 2 to mile 4 the trail is very narrow so use caution. It seems like the locals use this trail mostly as a downhill. This trails gets a lot of bike use. The middle section is very narrow with drop offs. The upper section seemed to be the most fun. The is part of the C to C route. This trail terminates on the ridge top at a junction with the Golden Stairway trail.
