This trail still starts and ends in the same spot, but like the Jake Mountain Trail and others in the trail system, this was recently redone (spring 2011) to be much more sustainable and have much better flow! Some of the old sections of trail are used, but much of it is new, and is nice and bench-cut, and is built to last. This is a super fun trail!!!

This loop enters and exits FS 28-1 just South of Camp Wahsega. Much more singletrack than the majority of the trails at Bull/Jake Mt. The current Forest Service markings list it as 223N. If your map still lists it as 28G, your map is old. Pick up a new one at the Jake Mt parking lot. The climb out after the creek is a lung buster and the GA red clay will really make your wheels feel like cinder blocks. Luckily, it seems this trail doesn't get much horse traffic and the condition of the trail shows it.
