Mountain Biking Black Branch

Black Branch is an excellent 4-mile loop of singletrack, especially after the reroute a couple years back. If you drive in to ride this trail, this is a pretty good beginners ride, but there are still a couple of climbs that will sneak up on ya. All in all, an excellent loop with some very fun, flowy descents.

From Dahlonega head west on 52, take the slight right to stay on 52, hang
a right onto Nimblewill church road, and a right at the Bull Mountain sign.
Continue up FS Road 28-1 for several mile and the trailhead will be on your
right behind a big stainless steel barrier with red reflectors, or access it via
the Jake Mountain trails.
