Description
Technical singletrack in native upland burr oak forest. Many intersecting trails of varying difficulty with optional "trail features" alongside main trails. This is a relatively small (80 acre) parcel of land... the organization of the interconnecting trails is continuously being improved by the local mt. bike club (LAMBA).

Review: An awesome ride that I would recommend to anyone. Easy, medium, and expert areas that are well marked. Very well maintained by LAMBA!!! Not a super huge place, but it has plenty of variety and fun features.

Review: Awesome, awesome trail. A decent amount of elevation changes and a plethora of TTFs. Lots of hard work went into the trails and it shows. One of the best trails in Iowa, by far, a must ride!

Review: I'm even more impressed on my second time at Beverly. There's new trail S of the fire road, it might still need some work but they're out there improving all the time. This is the best trail of the sort of in town city park type I've ridden. Most of the trails are easy or have bypasses of the obstacles. Some of the Expert is no kidding, with 2 ft hucks and steep drops with big bermed turns. and long skinnies.

Review: This is an interesting trail. Good ride opertunity if your in town, lots of nice little to advanced features, or bypass if you like. Not as much cardio as I would like (by which I mean hill climbs) but it flows nicely and can be riden eather direction mostly. The double black was closed for bridge repair. several intimidating bridges, that even I could ride. just had to get my head around it first. :) Ticks were active. good trail markers though it takes some time to figure it all out, you'll get back out soon enough if you just keep going and hit a green tour. I'm sure I'll try this again.

Review: Perfect mix of climbs and switchbacks. One bridge out in black diamond section. Could use some jumps. Bring bug spray because your attacked starting in the parking lot. For first time riders, beware of multiple trail splits. Print map. I will be back.

Review: Terrific trail system for such a small park. Some challenging obstacles on the black routes and plenty of green trails for young families. I've been there twice and cannot believe it is always quiet!

Review: Wow! What a neat trail system. I am from the area and didn't even know there was a Beverly Park. I guess it was just woods that were protected b/c it has native and rare Bur Oak trees. Two years ago a group (LAMBA) got together and cleaned-up the area to make some fantastic inner city trails. They are always improving the layout and I am never disappointed when I ride there. They have about 5 miles of interconnecting loops. The trails are bi-directional b/c of the limited land available. There are not any long climbs but some nice steady grades for a good cardio workout. For those that like a little challenge, there are natural and man-made obstacles! The people of LAMBA are always itching to show newcomers some nice routes to take; just post up on their forum at www.lambaonline.com that you are coming the Cedar Rapids for a ride. Keep in mind, it is not a large state or national area so take different routes to keep it interesting.
