Description
Nothing but sweet downhill single track through the woods. It still has great views though. A great early morning ride to start your day. At the bottom of moonstone there are some sweet switchback banked turns. If you bike up to the trailhead from town it is a long climb. There isn't much of parking at the trailhead except a dirt turnaroud across the street. Twenty to thirty minute ride.

Review: Its an alright trail. Easy to use thanks to the free public bus. The only part I hate is the rocks like someone forgot to remove them and just left them. Also its not 5 miles and takes only about 10 minutes to get down

Review: Great singletrack climb if you start in town and climb up Barney Ford from the initial entrance off of Baldy Rd.!!! Can be used to continue on to Sally Barber Mine and the French Gulch riding areas. Thank you town of Breckenridge for all the work done in signage and trail construction/maintenance in Summit County!!!
Review: So why are the written directions and map directions so different? Would like to try this, but not sure where to go....
Review: Great tight singletrack through trees. lots of smaller sized rocks in trail. Great ride, great views of Breck- town and mountains. l did this ride last week. Started at Illinois Gulch trailhead(Ice rink), Southside to Aspen grove to Boreas Pass to Forest Rd to The New Nightmare on Baldy(Thank you VOC) to Sallie Barber to BF-M. KILLER LOOP!
Review: rode this trail again and found it less fun because the unbelievable amount of extremely sharp rocks on moonstone. I still like this trail though.

Review: A really sweet trail especially at the top and very bottom. Watch out for trees! Not technical but sometimes bumpy and rooty but mainly just smooth, fast, singletrack.

Review: Simply put, an awesome trail. Short but sweet. Great singletrack and one of my favorite rides in Colorado.
