Description: This is my favorite trail of all I've riden. The trails are marked very well and there are a lot of points where you can get off the trail or join on it to make your own personalized ride. It is easy enough for the not so experienced, but it can be a good ride for the experts as well. Not the most technical or the hardest workout in the world, just moderate, but had to rate it a 10 overall and the goofy rating system wouldn't let me unless i rated the technical aspects a 10. (One side note - no logs or rock gardens or any rooty areas). About 98% single track with a little two track in there. Its a very smooth ride with a bunch of different areas along the trail. You start with mild hills and lots of smooth turns and small elevation changes. It goes into a more open straight away area, then into the climbs. This is a smooth ride with lots of different terrain (being half deciduous and half coniferous). Its got switchbacks, fair climbs, differing types of climbs, smooth terrain, and a great layout. Very beautiful and its free. Perfect fun ride.

Very easy to follow? I guess not in the fall. With all of the leaves down, this is not the best time to go for your first time. I lost the trail many times. According to my garmin watch, 5.5 miles, and not real good flow. It has some decent decents and a couple of decent off camber climbs in the last mile and a half. I had always wanted to ride this loop, and was feeling disapointed when done. Very tight, twisty, Rooty, and just kind of choppy.
