Description
This Trail is 2/3 Complete as of 9-1-09, built by MMBA. There are 2 loops totaling about 4.5 miles. The green loop and red loop are both intermediate and all single track. Start at the Kiosk, Trail entrance is right across the road from it for the green loop. The red loop starts at the other lot where the emergency entrance is.

A great place to take a newbie without beating him up too badly.

Review: Blue trail has a handful of climbs and downhills where you can pick up some speed with a couple little jumps and obstacles. The trail is fun and fairly simple but there are a two spots where large trees have fallen over the trail recently. The rest of the trail is in great shape

Review: There are 3 trails here, all offer something a little bit different. The Green Trail is really quick, smooth, and simple. The trail itself is tightly lined by small trees, but the woods are fairly wide open, so you can really see a lot while riding. There are a few log and rock piles, but they can be easily bypassed. The Red trail is tight, highly vegetated, and features lots of small hills and valleys to add interest. At some points the trees force you to come to a near stop to maneuver through, but then you're flying again. It opens up near the road and has a couple of man-made features like a bridge, some log rides, and a few ramps. The Blue trail is the most sweeping trail, having some stretches where you can really get moving. It starts off with a decent climb, and carries that speed throughout. The second half get a bit tight, but not to the extent that Red gets. Overall, a cool trail that is nice and close to downtown Lansing and MSU's campus.

Review: I thought this was a really good intermediate trail with some man made features thrown in to test more advanced riders. Although it took me about 30 minutes to ride it was a fun trail.

Review: This is a great little trail that I was able to hit this last weekend. The trail has good flow and is kept up well. The man-made obstacles are a little challenging and a whole lot of fun. The only downfall is that it is a very short and quick ride.

Review: Fun, fast, clean singletrack. Some cool log jumps and ramp to cruise through, but this trail is mostly classic tree-dodging singletrack that we all love. Great for an after work ride, multiple loops that aren't incredibly challenging, but can give you a nice fun workout. If you've ever ridden the pines at stoney creek park, it's much like a full rides worth of that.

Similar Trail: much like the pines at stoney creek metropark

Review: Tight, twisty, and exciting singletrack with a quick climbs and descents. The trail is very well kept and obstacles are often added. There are now a few berms, bridges, and log piles to conquer. A beginner could definitely fly through this no problem, and even the intermediate riders will find something to enjoy here. The trail whips by the Grand River a couple times for some beautiful scenery. My only big complaint is that for all the hills in the area, there isn't much speed that can be sustained in the trail, or any technical downhill sections.

Review: Fun little tight, twisty network that I rode while in Lansing on business. Should be fun when finished.
