#217 of 265 mountain bike trails in Montana
#27,230 in the world

From the Chief Joseph Pass parking lot take the west entrance road and cross the highway to the south. Rode the CDT trail/jeep road for approximately 6 miles to the old Anderson Mountain Lookout site. Return back to the May Creek trail and descend it to Highway 43. Ride west on Highway 43 approximately 4.25 miles and turn left onto the Cabinet Creek trail. Ascend the Cabinet Creek trail to the May Creek trail. Ascend the May Creek trail up to the CDT trail/jeep road and turn right and proceed back to the Chief Joseph Pass parking lot. There are many options for various length rides using these trail systems. This is only a sample of whats possible up here. This ride is a combination of jeep road, great singletrack, and 4.25 miles of narrow two lane highway.
