Description: Park is split by a pond. On the east side some tough singletrack runs along the pond edge and fire roads are up a bit higher. On the west side there is more singletrack and some smoother trails. Pretty wet when I rode. There's a boardwalk near the pond but trails further away are a bit drier.

Great ridding is to be had at Ames Nowell State Park. You can park on Lincoln St. or Chestnut St. to access the popular trails. Parking at Lincoln St. will get you access to most of the main trails and some pretty decent single track. You can ride 3-6 miles of single track without looping over previous trails. The Chestnut St. entrance will gain you access to the drier side of the park with lots of flowing single track. This side of the park has some nice rock faces and you can really pick up speed. South East MA NEMBA will be performing trail maintenance this year. We look forward to the improvements coming our way.

Wicked wet today but this place might be ok when its drier. The trails to the Northwest seem to be forgotten and overgrown. Many spots need crossing due to nasty swamp water. No maps at the parking lot either so be prepared with your own map.

Some fun singletrack. Nothing technical, but enough rocks and roots to keep you paying attention. Some nice boulder rides, may be some drops to explore if you are a freerider. Trails may improve with more riders as many trails were a little overgrown.
