Description
USAGE:Freeride / Downhill

CONDITIONS:Wet to Dry / Loose to Rough

The MX (Motocross) utilizes the same aggressive transitions and outside knobs as the Prowler XT, but features a shifted center tread. The MX is a highly predictable tire at speed, boasting deep-piercing lateral grip in loose conditions. The 2.5-inch version excels on treacherous descents and high-speed chutes while the MX 2.1-inch thrives on epic, day-long trail rides.

Model/Year: 2.5, 2.6, & 2.3 2009-10

Pros: - Great all-around tire
- Quick rolling and grippy

Cons: - Wears very quickly
- 2.5 & 2.6 feel larger than other tires the same size
- Cannot be run at a low PSI with tubes (unless you want pinch flats)

Recommendation: Fanastic all-around tire that can be used in any conditions. They corner well, and produce very little rolling resistance. However their performance is short lived and they wear very fast.

Pros: great all cond. tire, corners great. works well in wet and dry trails

Cons: a bit heavy for xc bikes

Recommendation: I used the 2.3 mx as a front tire and loved it other than weight which wasn't really that bad this is a great all around tire. I didn't think it wore out fast as in other reviews.

Pros: great grip, strong tire

Cons: wears out fast, heavy for xc riding

Recommendation: definately a great freeride or downhill tire but wears out quickly. not for the xc trail rider who doesnt want to work harder on the flats and climbs.

Pros: Great gripping and rolling tire that is light weight.

Cons: Wears out too fast, leaving cornering a little sketchy.

Recommendation: Great performing tire for a short period of time. If you like to change your rubber frequently I'd go for it.

Pros: Great agressive tire for most conditions. grabs well in corners and works great for 4-6 inch bikes

Cons: None yet.

Recommendation: If you have a long leg trail bike and ride mostly on looser stuff this tire works great. Tough single ply casing which holds up great on rocky and rooted trails.
