Pros: The entire R1i system: the full-floater suspension, EVO link, and most of all the ABP braking system!!

Cons: Mine came with Maxxis Ignitor tires which undermines the bike tremendously. I would recommend anyone who is planning to get this bike to get better tires like the Kenda ExCavator or Nevegal. The saddle is also uncomfortable, will upgrade it soon.

Recommendation: This is a great bike for anyone who is getting into serious mountain biking. This bike is light (just under 30lbs), considering the type of riding its designed to do. The slack head angle give the bike an irrefutable edge on the downhills but make you work just a little bit on the uphills compared to a XC bike (such as the Fuel EX). But if you're craving for some drops, jumps, and light stunts on the trail. The Remedy is probably the best in it's class!! The ABP does exactly what its promised to do, keeping the suspension active during high speed braking. While the full-floater made it almost impossible to bottom-out. If you're the type of rider who won't climb unless there is a rad decent, you don't need to look any further, and with the 2008 model now sold at $2,500.00 there is no better deal!!
