Cons: It's expensive. Some things like scandium wheels feel like overkill and add to price without boosting performance that much.
Recommendation: If you want a solid, dependable, longer-travel XC bike, get the Fuel EX 9.9. This bike does everything well: climbing, descending, cornering and is everything you'd expect from a high end Trek.
