Mountain Biking Kiwanis Fairground

****   Add a review
#121 of 406 mountain bike trails in Georgia
#2,993 in the world

This is a short but fun trail jammed into a small piece of land between the airport runway, the National Guard armory, and the fairgrounds. Reminds me of the old days when kids would build trails wherever there was a spare acre or two, except these seem a touch more official with signs and everything! Some of the tightest, twistiest singletrack you'll find anywhere, just wish it was longer... One surprisingly steep drop along the trail - I won't spoil the surprise :)

Getting there
Trail starts off the road that goes in between the fairgrounds and the armory on the right as you head south of town on US 19. Hit the airport and you've gone too far. Turn in between armory and kwianis bldg, keep straight and you'll see the signs to beginning over in right corner of field.

Rider questions

Q: Is it hilly?
A: Not really. There are some very short, steep, ups and downs but I wouldn't classify them as hills. More like bumps. That said, it's not easy. But you also won't be climbing continuously for minutes at a time.
