Description: You will pass the single track on the way to the parking area. There's a 1.5 single track loop but it's not marked very clearly and additional side trails. On the other side of the parking area are a few more miles of trails, some muddy. It's not very technical but fun for the area.

Some trail maintaince has been done. Some temp signs up on the South loop to make it easier to understand the trail route. Should be some more changes later in the year, to loop more of the unused trails in.

Single track, needs some clearing, lots of different trails, and they cross each other. This makes it difficult to figure out the correct way to go. Some people are working on remarking the trails. Some jumps, and tree crossing.

the trails back by the nature center have been cleared (Island Trail.) the front trails have been taken over by dudes who park and poke (man on man crime!) cops have been patrolling alot lately so no-fear. I suggest trying the Island Trail before the city decides to screw'm up!!! Thanks to the person or people helping out.

Not a whole lot to offer. short, small, and unorganized. maybe with some help it could have some ok jump built on a little down hill section near the entrance, but judging by other comments they wouldnt last

The park is still alive and kicking...much of the jumps, pallet bridges & drops have been destroyed due to someone getting hurt but the single tracks are still good..P.S there is some "man on man" business which goes on in this park so if you see a few cars or trucks back into a parking spot keep trucking to another spot!!! survitz..

Had fun back on the mounds and myself and some friends are planning on possibly cleaning it out a bit. Overall, it's pretty fun to just ride around the jumps and make some fun lines.

This is a call to all west siders. Perhaps we can get together and clear out the paths. This park has potential , but it needs grooming.

Pretty much eroded away. Nothing challenging left except some jumping mounds.

Only trails and a few jumps left. I believe somone got hurt and the city tore down everything. Still a fun after work ride.

Trail is a great working progress. We have been building for a while, and it is turning out great for some Free Ride stuff. There is a few good jumps, drops, skinnies, and some some ok trail riding. I ride a Specialized P2 and I seem to be having a lot of fun there, so you don't need anything crazy to enjoy it.

Trail needs some work. But two ladderbridges have been built with a four foot sea saw. The trails need marking but are in otherwise good condition. Some fun obstacles but they are hard to find. Otherwise a great short ride!

Pretty easy stuff with a couple of "tougher" sections that contain roots and tight turns. Ideal for some light training or a fun ride for beginners. It is actually split into two sections. One part can be entered via parkinglot (outside playground). Head down road toward observation center but turn off road before observation center. Head right down train entrance(paved, then continue across wooden bridge to trail. There are some hikers on occasion so watch out. The other section can be accessed by riding down parking lot road away from observation center. Make a right onto fire road. Go around the steel cable and follow road until it forces you to go left. Make the left (you have no choice) follow til almost the end then enter trail on left side. Total loop if you complete both sides of trails, is about 8 miles. Overall, the ride is easy and a bit boring. Weekends and holidays can be a bit annoying due to the kids and families walking around or riding their Wal-Mart bikes!

Good park, some new jumps, pallet bridges & clean trails. Check it out!! p.s there's (2) parts of the park!

the trails are not long the up keep is poor, and the people that hang around the area are not what you want to be around, don't waste you time.
