Rode last week for first time and for some reason I really, really liked this trail. It just has a little of everything from Fast / Technical / Good length and Scenery. Just a good technical trail loop to be nice and satisfied with. I cant wait to come back later to do it in a faster time...

I am a beginner and had to walk a few sections but I wouldn't let that keep anyone away from trying it. The scenery is great, you ride by nice water if you want to chill as the water is cold!!! Very well laid out, was never worried about being lost and they had mileage markers every mile. The downhill runs make the uphills worth it even if you have to walk up part of it. Look forward to riding it again.

Road the trail today after work. I was a little intimidated at first, but really began to enjoy it. It really helped me a couple of technical areas since I'm still new to riding. I highly suggest it.

Wide, fast, double track with a couple of mildly technical sections. I can see why this place hosts races, the elevation changes will work you. Seems to drain pretty well, rode it one day after a rain and no mud.

It was wet but a nice ride. Good climbs and downhills.

Very nice trail system, with a sweet downhill toward the end. Absolutely very senic without anydoubt!

decent trail system, however, the singletrack isn't really single... it is wide trail. nice downhill at the end, and some good views along the way. would be a decent trail for a first time rider

Nice trail system that can be accessed from the town of Helen. The initial climb from town is steep and tough but once you're up the climbs are fairly moderate. Wide singletrack is a little eroded in places but that makes it more challenging. Pretty simple network, well signed.

This trail has several very long, difficult climbs. It has some awesome fast and technical down hills, and is not crowded at all. I just finished this trail in mid-October, and I had a blast doing it. There is some difficult sections, but a beginner could walk the ones not comfortable with.

Great trail that I don't hear too many people talk about. It isn't very technical as most of the reviews said but the climbs will definitely wake you up. I started at what I think is the only parking lot just past the Unicoi Lodge then take a road on the right, down to a gravel parking lot, then rode through the big field, up a short climb then took a right for some more climbing. Lots of fun. Nice downhill run at mile 5 or so.

This is not a really technical trail, so a strong beginner would have few problems. Easier, shorter climbs, and fun downhills but challenging enough for you to ride fast and get technical. I rode it in the rain this weekend, and it was a muddy mess, but it's a really fun ride! Can't get lost...Start in the Helen municipal lot, and ride that way!

I enjoy this trail. It is moderate in difficulty and offers some good climbs and fast downhill. I enjoy biking just over 3/4 of it, going into Helen (since the trail connects to the streets) for a tour of the town, and return and complete the trail. This is rather nice.

This is a great epic ride, you can ride ALL day if you wanted to. The map you get is pretty much useless, and there aren't any good landmarks, so bring enough gear in case you get lost. There are some killer climbs, but there are awesome downhills. You have to pay to park and ride, but it is worth it. There is some really good camping here also.

sweet downhills, bring your lungs though some very treacherous uphill climbs that will test your stamina. A little confusing once you get in there so bring a gps or compass.

The trail is in disrepair- trees, bad ruts, bridges out. If your looking for a good workout this is it, big climbs with a few areas you get to build some flow in.

Grueling climbs!! And if you're going from Unicoi toward Helen, watch out for the hairpin turn near the end. Mmmm... dirt tastes good.
