Description: The trail starts very fast and reasonably technical. Don't fret, it does slow down. I have quite a few scars from where I ate the first section of the trail. There are a few forks in the road, but for the most part just follow the bike paths. When on the far east side the trail splits. Only go to the left if you want to be tortured by extremely the technical section. (If training for the race in Nov. I say take the technical side, whereas it is part of the race.) Go to the right if you want to take the short cut, but they both end up in the same spot. From the place where the two trails rejoin, it is a pretty much straight shot along side Walnut Grove Road. Don't worry, there is a barbed wire fence to protect you from those 65 mph cars! Seriously though, it's safe. I grew up riding this trail and I still enjoy it.

Good trail - Fairly Easy ride - Took the kids on their BMX bikes and they can ride 70% of the first 1/2 of the trail. Watch out for runners on the trail. Good beginner/intermediate trail

A really fun trail to take with friends. This was my first mtb trail and i enjoyed it enough to start riding a mtb more regularly! There are slow areas and speedy areas, and if you're not in great shape 1 time around is a great workout, unlike described below. This track is fun, sometimes can become very muddy after rain though.

A fun trail! I wished it had more climbing, but was a great trail anyway. I can tell this trail would be a perfect venue for mtb races!

Similar Trail: Addison Oaks MTB Trail, Michigan

I live in the city of Memphis and its nice to have a MTB trail so close most people who live in large cities dont have that luxury so, its convenient. The trail starts off with a nice descent and then slows down but its a good trail for an "after-work exercise"...the only problem I have with this trail is there is too much traffic (H.S. CC teams and single runners ) oh well I'll take it over nothing

Similar Trail: These trails arent similar but close by: Stanky Creek (Bartlett) I.H. Managerial Park (Lakeland)

This trail was my first ride. I found it to be pretty easy but fun: some sections are pretty fast and some short technical areas. Good ride for beginners and family. Just watch out for people and dogs on the trail. You can not do much better in the memphis area though.

Similar Trail: I have heard about Stanky Creek. I plan to ride there pretty soon.

Although it wasnt a hard trail to ride I still had a lot of fun on it. When I first got there i wasn't sure where it was. So I asked someone and he pointed the way. Watch out for the people walking their dogs.

This trail is fast and not very challenging. But it is a good workout if you ride it twice around and just want to get a ride in. It's about as good as you get around Memphis, except Stanhy Creek.

This trail is good for going for a quick ride that isn't really challenging. There is very limited technicality to the ride and it is short. To get anything out of it, you probably have to ride the loop at least twice consecutively. It's only about 5 miles. Beware, it's easy to rapidly come upon trail walkers/runners.

Its Memphis so you take what you can get. A good trail when all you want to do is ride fast.
