DescriptionThe trail starts very fast and reasonably technical. Don't fret, it does slow down. I have quite a few scars from where I ate the first section of the trail. There are a few forks in the road, but for the most part just follow the bike paths. When on the far east side the trail splits. Only go to the left if you want to be tortured by extremely the technical section. (If training for the race in Nov. I say take the technical side, whereas it is part of the race.) Go to the right if you want to take the short cut, but they both end up in the same spot. From the place where the two trails rejoin, it is a pretty much straight shot along side Walnut Grove Road. Don't worry, there is a barbed wire fence to protect you from those 65 mph cars! Seriously though, it's safe. I grew up riding this trail and I still enjoy it.
