Perfect for the entire family. A great way to experience the beauty of Alaska. Not surprising to see a few moose while on here. Bike Rental Shops are conveniently located just a few blocks from the beginning if you didn't bring your own. Also great for last day if you are catching a later flight out.

The paved bike trail system in Anchorage has rapidly evolved over the past couple years and now all the trails (with the exception of 1 still under construction) intersect with each other creating almost 100 miles of scenic pathways. In addition to running through some of the more beautiful parts of town they lead to several areas/parks that are dirt singletrack networks (x-country ski trails in winter). Most dirt riders I know just travel the paved trails to their destinations. A fun and great way to see Anchorage pick up a trail map at any local bike shop or the Parks & Recreation Dept. Please watch out for moose. Traveling south on the Coastal Tr will take you to Kincaid Park with over 20 miles of dirt trails.

Great views of Knik Arm, Cook Inlet in Anchorage. The trail is paved, but there is some singletrack at Kincaid Park at the south end. I saw 5 moose during one ride. Great scenery.
