Got my start on these trails, in-between classes at nearby Clayton state... It's lost a lot since 2000. The "green" trails are still mostly here, nothing extreme, just easy riding through the woods. What was the good stuff has been mostly built over, and last time I was here alot of what was left of the "red" singletrack was a bit grown-over. Still a decent loop on the left of the road in, with some cool creek crossings and a few steep roll-ins. It was good when I lived next to it.. but I wouldn't drive there.

I don't ride these trails often but I'm glad to see they're being maintained. It can be difficult to connect up some sections, particularly the trails across the divided parkway. Good signage, though it can be inconsistent (wooden arrows, metal signs, and spray paint on trees). A fair amount of rocks and roots in sections.

Rode the RED trail again today for the 2nd time today. Fairly technical with plenty of short, steep climbs and nice descents. My only gripe with this trail is that it can be confusing distinguishing between the 3 different levels of difficulty. RED = Advanced, BLUE = Difficult, GREEN = Beginner and in many places you cannot tell what trail you are actually on.

5+ miles of single and double track trails that circle the pond in the park. Hand cut trail that is rooty and twisty with technical spots that will catch you off guard if you don't know they are coming. With a few more miles of trail this could be a really sweet trail.

A good mix of up and down, easy and hard. There are some roots and rocks, but nothing super technical, but enough to make you stay focused and pick good lines. The climbs are short but some are pretty steep and there are a good number of creek dips that are pretty fun. All in all it's a fun ride. There is a nice flow through most of the trail and some really fast areas.

Good little trail! This is one of the closest "real" trails to my house and it's worth the ~20 minute drive. Plenty of trail (each lap is about 5 miles) and even though it isn't meticulously maintained, there were only 2 or 3 fallen trees that should be cleared and no other maintenance issues. Plenty of variety and enjoyable for all skill levels of XC riders. Perhaps the best part is that it was completely empty today except for us! I bet the parking lot at Blankets Creek was completely full. edit: the trail map at the trail head is gone, but the map on here covers the full well-marked course.

I love this trail and park. It is great for getting out there and learning how to ride on the road or on the trails at the beach.

This trail I would describe as ok, in no way will it thrill you but it does have about five miles of single track, its just missing somthing or alot of things, however it is great for someone wanting to get introduced to riding on singletrack. The biggest downside is that does not appear to be well maintained and ridden often. To ride for free ride your bike into the park and leave you car outside on the street.* Review edited 7/29/2008

I rode this trail for the first time and really enjoyed it, didn't see another person but the trail was well manicured. If you follow the arrows you'll get about 4.5 miles, I had trouble figuring out how to get the full mileage out of it. There's no sustained climbs or downhills but it's fun terrain. There's about 2 technical areas that are not relatively "easy", one which could pitch in you in a creek. Great proximity if you live in midtown or south Atlanta, worth the 3 bucks for parking.

I used to ride this trail back in 1998, things have definitely changed. Not only has the trail changed, but it seems that no one even rides this trail anymore. Vines and overgrowth have taken over the trail. Don't even try the field. Looks like no one has riden it in about five years. Horrible condition. In some parts, it seems like the trail just disappears into nothing. I have to say that I am disappointed in the condition the trail is in. I might give it another chance, but not soon.

Stretches were fun, but all in all, we were disappointed with the lack of blazes to discern between the intermediate and advanced stages. Also, the trail came very close to the main road at a couple of junctures, so beware, especially if you have dogs along for the ride. But for the proximity to Atlanta, accessibility of parking, and occasional exciting moments, it does get bonus points.

I rode this on Sunday morning. The funniest thing I saw there was a big sign that said, "NO FISHING". There were about a dozen people fishing. That brings me to my next point. Things aren't as they seem. There is supposed to be a beginner's, intermediate and advanced trail. I would say that the advanced trail has few tiny challenges nothing overwhelming. I would say that parts were comparable to Yellow River creek side. However, it was a lot of fun. Lots of quick ups and downs and a few short steep zig zag climbs. It was good clean fun.
