Description: This trail is easy technical and intermediate aerobic. This is one of the first trails I rode about 22 years ago and where I started to catch the mountain biking bug. Head through the gate and grind on the road for about 9 miles then turn around and come back. The trail goes up and down as it climbs and affords great views of the Ojai valley. The last bit to the top is on pavement but you should do it just so you can say you made it to the top. This trail is multi use so please respect the hikers and horseback riders.

Congrats. Now try Sisar/Nordhoff Ridge! You will enjoy it. My best friend and I live in Ventura and we ride all the time!

Similar Trail: Sisar Rd, Topa Topa, Murietta Divide, Romero Canyon, Santa Paula Peak, Mt Pinos, and alot of secret single tracks backcountry.

amazing. I consider myself a beginner, so this was hard for me. But the views were amazing. I am one to never finish anything. But I finish this. i was so proud of myself. Yes, it took me 2 hrs. and 45 min. to WALK my bike up, but it felt really good knowing that I had accomplished my goal.

This is also one of my first mountain bike rides about 10 years ago. A somewhat strenuous ride on dirt road. The vistas are pretty cool once to the top with open ranges all around. All downhill going back. I have found you can go almost as fast as you want due to the width of the road. Just be courtious to hikers and try not to kick up too much dust. Enjoy!
