Description: Nice fire road with gentle ascending grade to the reservoir. Great for kids and out of shape adults. If you bring kids, bring some fishing poles as the reservoir is rarely fished, so kids will have non-stop action there with the small fish. I have seen people swim there, although I am not sure how safe it is. This is the end of the Signal Knob trail noted elsewhere, but for those looking for something less epic, it is a pretty cool place to visit.

Nothing special... it's a fire road with gentle climbs and descents. There are several trails that cross this road, the whole area is full of them, but I'm betting they are hiking trails only. The only thing to mention really about this trail is the reservoir at the end. Someone said earlier you could swim here, but there could be an underwater current given that it's an active reservoir. Also, the road keeps going after the reservoir if you want more of a work-out. Trailhead: 38.920864,-78.380440 Reservoir: 38.944839,-78.354568
