Description: This is as good as it gets as far as greenway trails go. The paved path was very well constructed and maintained. Several bridges allow for many scenic river crossings and there are many plants and wildlowers (even yummy wild rasberries!) in the summer. The path goes out about 5.5 miles and is a great way to see Stowe's scenery and various shops and restaurants. Stowe is a biker-friendly town with most shops and restaurants having bike racks and plenty of road signage to warn cars of upcoming bicycle path crossings.

Nice, paved path that is perfect for an afternoon with the non-mtb'ing lady friend. Gorgeous views in the fall of Mansfield and the surrounding area. As stated by other reviewers, the path is shared by bikers, walkers, joggers, families with strollers, etc.

Stowe Rec path is exactly what you would expect from a recreational path, with an addition of great scenery. You can park anywhere from Rt. 100 or along Rt. 108. The path mostly follows what is known as a section of Little River. All around nice and easy. **As with most rec paths, plenty of joggers, people walking, and non-motorized vehicles are on the path.**

The Stowe Rec. Path is a very pretty paved way that runs about 7 miles from Stowe proper almost to Mt. Mansfield. It is about as wide as a single lane road, and winds through Stowe's little river, making for several cute little creek crossings. This is the perfect place for a family ride.
