Description: 3 loops that can ridden together for an 8.0 mile loop with different variations of riding it. It is tight and twisty singletrack with abundant switch backs. There are a few hills in this area but nothing to steep... the trail has a lot of fast and tight(barely handlebar width) singletrack sections. There is also a very nice dirt jump section within the trails that will test you if you've got the balls. This is about as technical as the riding gets here and IMO probably the best riding in the area. If you come to Memphis and want to ride this is the place to go.

Nice trails for Memphis. Lots of root gardens, but there are some pretty fast sections. Some short, steep hills both to climb and descend. Several bridges, a small ramp, some wall ride bridges, and e BMX park too. There's about 10+ miles of trails, and their pretty well maintained.

Fast and fun. I was in Memphis for the weekend and had read about this, brought the bike and got out early. (Good thing, too: come to find out there was a 12 hour race starting just as I was finishing up.) This is one trail that would get more fun every time you ride it. I would have ridden it completely differently had I known what obstacles/features were coming up, and in general, I would have been going a lot faster. As for the "big hill," not only was it not too bad; while I was scoping out a line, some dude came bombing past me and took the whole drop without even a hint of braking. I admit to squeezing the grips a bit myself on the way down, but it's so short that you don't really have time to panic.

Similar Trail: I'm not familiar with other Tennesee trails, but if you get up toward St. Louis, it's similar to Castlewood Park.

Three trails that can be ridden together adding up to about 9 miles. The Blue trail(1.5 mi) is the shortest but has some really technical spots. Yellow trail (2.3 mi) is a very good ride. Plenty of climbs and desents. White trail(5.1 mi) is the longest and most fun. Lots of rolling hills, a few good jumps and a BMX park on the far N/E side of the trail. lots of wodden bridges and log crossings throughout the entire park. Difficult creek crossing at 1 point but there is a well constructed bridge on the east side nrer the end of the white trail. Trails are marked and easy to fallow. If you are new to these trails you can get turned around and a bit lost very easily. A compus or handheld GPS may be a good idea. PLEAST DONT LITTER. Lets keep it nice for everyone to enjoy.

The trail is very tight in spots but not bad it has a few climbs on the white trail that are fair nothing to bad, lots of bridges, log crossings, the trail has nice flow and when its dry its fast, there are plenty of step ups via ditches and a difficult creek crossing (but its easy with the proper angle and momentum) Overall, its a fun trail and if you have the balls try the BMX park those guys love to watch MTBikers give it a go

easily accessibly, best trail network i've found in memphis, technical but easy enough for most beginners as they can just ride around obstacles some parts of the trail get very muddy after a heavy rain

Stanky Creek has to be the most technical ride in the Memphis area. It was a great ride and offers alot for various skill levels. Some sections can be a bit above the average begginers skill level though. You can not do any better than these trails in the Memphis area.

A good trail. Just stay on the trail lest you end up with a case of poison ivy or poison oak. Plenty of difficult (for me) areas. Close to where I live so I ride it often.

Overall, not bad. Probably the best trail around the Memphis area. The description is right, though, it's a bit confusing the first time. The trees have paint on them the tell you which trail you're on (blue, yellow or white). There is a ladder section and a BMX play area.

Trail is right by my house so I ride it often. Trail is super fun but kind of confuing if you have never ridden on it. Do not ride if it is wet, also added to the trail is a small ladder section.

A little more technical than shelby farms with some twists and turns. A couple of jumps thrown in for good measure
