Mountain Biking Skull

Skull is a rocky singletrack trail connected to the Methodist Mountain Trail
system. To access the trail you have to ride Little Rainbow Trail and branch
off from there. It can also be access from a fire road off of Pinon Ridge Trail,
but I think it is better to connect it to Little Rainbow. It is not technical, but
is covered in small rock of different size. A great after work ride. The trail
does have a little slope to is from Little Rainbow, but be prepared for a
small climb back to Little Rainbow.

Approaching Salida from the East on Highway 50, look for the left turn onto
the not-so-well marked Burmac Road. If you see an old garage with a Big O
Tires sign out front, you just passed it. Double back and take the first right
then grab the first left that quickly dumps into a parking area. Park here.
