Q: Is this a good trail for begginers? -Guest

A: It is definitely the easiest intermediate trail in the charlotte area I would say. It is a step up from the green trails at lake norman (monbo, hawk, etc). It is slightly more challenging than the lake loop at white water center. There are a couple rock gardens/technical features that may present a challenge to beginners.

Review: Awesome place to ride. I'm a intermediate rider from West Virginia and this place blew everywhere I've ever rode back home out of the water. In single track anyway. Very flowy some rocky sections, man made obsticals and jump through out.

Review: As a novice, there were several areas on this trail that were out of my league but there was always an "easy out" which made them super enjoyable. High berms, really great flow, the uphill isn't too steep. My favorite trail I've ridden so far!

Review: This was a fun trail with many options for jumps and stuff like that. Overall it was fun but could be better so that's why it has a 4 star rating.

Review: One of my favorite trails to ride in Charlotte, it is well maintained by the TTB and is an absolute blast to ride. Its very flowly and easy to keep a fast pace through most of it. Roots and rocks are present but not terribly, there are some drops, log bridges, jumps, and berms littered through the trails. if you have time to ride one trail in charlotte for the day I recommend this. Its fun as something for everyone!

Review: Pretty good trail very well maintained. Easy enough for beginners and has challenges for the experts. Very little climbing. I have young kids that ride frequently they really liked this trail and were able to ride everything this place had to offer.

Review: Sherman's was great! I rode it(main loop) for the first time 5/31/15, conditions were a little dry but I had so much fun. It had a really nice flow and design. These guys did a great job of designing, maintaining, and marking the trail. Since then, I've ridden it a few more times after we got some rain and it is a blast! This trail has a little something for everyone, from rock gardens and berms... to jumps and drop offs, it has plenty to keep it interesting. Definitely my new favorite place to ride.

Review: really fun intermediate trail. there's a great flow and not a lot of elevation change, so it's fairly fast. a couple obstacles sprinkled around, but the trail is predominantly smooth. really nice trail maintenance and interesting, well-built features.

Review: Best trail in the charlotte area in my opinion. Although not the most challenging in the technical aspect it does have a few places to challenge you but is the best place to just have fun and enjoy a ride. Not too many bad roots and has a few good rocky areas to tackle. It is always worth the trip to ride.
